DRIVING TO ALBANY
For reference, Albany is a ~6 hour drive from Toronto or a ~5 hour drive from Ottawa
FLYING TO ALBANY
The closest airport is Albany International Airport (ALB). Other options include flying into JFK, LGA, or EWR and arranging a rental carpool, bus from Port Authority, or train from Penn Station.
TRAINING TO ALBANY
You can take the Amtrak from Penn Station/Moynihan, take the Amtrak from Montreal, or take the Via Rail from Toronto
BUSSING TO ALBANY
It is possible to bus from NYC via Greyhound, Trailways or MegaBus. It is also possible to bus from Montreal via Greyhound, Trailways, MegaBus, or FlixBus.
CAR RENTALS IN ALBANY
There are several car rental companies based at Albany Airport, including Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National/Alamo, and Dollar. There is an Enterprise car rental at the Albany Amtrak station, however, we recommend checking the hours beforehand as they can be limited.
RIDESHARE SERVICES IN ALBANY
Once you get to Albany, you would be able to get around for the most part via Uber/Lyft/Taxi. We will be hiring a shuttle to get people between Albany and the wedding.

Hotel Blocks and Guest Shuttle
We have reserved three hotel blocks near the Albany Airport. A charter bus will pick guests up at these hotels around 2:30pm and drive them to the wedding. The charter bus will pick guests up from the wedding at 9pm and 11pm and drive them back to their hotel. Timing may vary as our itinerary is finalized, but we will be sure to update the website with any changes. Please let us know in the RSVP if you plan on staying at a hotel block and/or taking the charter bus to/from the wedding.

If you choose to stay at a nearby Airbnb or other local accommodations, there are options! However, there is no public transit, including Uber/Lyft, so you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding.
